建模和仿真是研究和優化機械系統的重要工具,通過對真實世界系統的精確表示,研究人員能夠在構建物理原型之前,預測系統性能并改進設計,從而減少時間和成本。在本次報告中,將介紹和討論兩種常用于機械系統的數值技術、有限元以及邊界元,可以有助于具有復雜幾何形狀和材料特性的機械系統建模,使機械系統的各種力學問題得以解決。
專家簡介:
Lim?Kian?Meng?is?an?Associate?Professor?of?the?Department?of?Mechanical?Engineering?in?the?National?University?of?Singapore.?He?was?also?a?Fellow?of?the?Computational?Engineering?Program?under?the?Singapore-MIT?Alliance?II?(2005-2013).?His?research?interests?are?in?the?areas?of?computational?mechanics,?vibration,?acoustics?and?hearing.?He?has?worked?on?several?projects?involving?the?development?of?advanced?computational?methods?for?multi-physics?and?multi-disciplinary?problems,?such?as?acoustic?wave?propagation?through?sonic?crystals,?manipulation?of?micro?particles?and?cells?in?microfluidic?systems,?and?vibration?problems?involving?fluid-structure?interactions.
